Lindy Michaels was bi-coastal before the word existed, moving back and forth between New York and Los Angeles as a child. After college at UCLA, she opened OF BOOKS AND SUCH, LA's first children's bookshop (1972-1987) with her mother; their quest being to inspire young minds by exposing them to wonderful literature. For the past 25 years, Lindy has been a writer, book/script analyst and writer's mentor. Having written numerous articles for various blogs and children's book reviews for LA Parent's Good Reads With Ronna, her main goal in life remains to inspire the young and the not so young.
