The rate of divorce for military personnel far exceeds that of non-military. Ironically, women in the military are twice as likely to end their marriage as men and younger soldiers more likely to divorce than officers. But the largely untold story is what happens to those who remain on the home front when their spouses go off to war. Hear our interview with author Karen Whiting who has compiled dozens of stories in Stories of Faith and Courage from the Home Front. She is the wife of retired Coast Guard Officer and mother to two active service sons. Her main focus is to tell the stories of those whose lives have been upended by war. Talk radio host managing editor of NEWD Magazine Tiffani Knowles and Soul Movement Crews General Manager Creigy D gab for an hour about trends, music, faith and much more. Every week we interview a super cool guest appealing to a faith-filled, urban twentysomething market.
