Today my co-host Sandra lang and I will be interviewing Melissa Fields, a 52 year old person with autism who lives in: Santa Maria California She was diagnosed, informally with Aspergers Syndrome in May 1999 and then a formal diagnosis of Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Not Otherwise Specified in 2005, by a county mental health psychologist. Other dxes include Schizotypal Personality Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Avoidant Personality Disorder. Melissa has her own blogspot called http://iamautistic---thisismylife.blogspot.com/ and the main topic of todays show will be bloggers on the spectrum and what family life is like for those on he spectrum. As usual poetry will be shared and a few of my poet friends are stoping by. I will be reading two sonnets by Erina Booker.
