She has uncovered at the Library of Congress; "The Red Book of Houston" which was published in 1915. The Red Book of Houston is a Compendium of Social, Professional, Religious, Educational, and Industrial interest of Houstons Colored Population. How much do you know about the African American population of your city? For far too long we have been taught to look forward. We have been taught to look to the Government.
