Carl Gibson, 26, is Co-founder of US Uncut, an anti-cuts movement that brought tens of thousands of activists to the streets to protest corporate tax dodging and budget cuts in the months leading up to Occupy Wall Street. Carl and other US Uncut activists are featured in the documentary Were Not Broke, which premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. Carl has been arrested at Occupy protests 3 times in Houston, Texas, and once in New York City, and recently worked as the national debates organizer for Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein. Carl is currently organizing a campaign called "Shut The Chamber," aimed at taking down the US Chamber of Commerce. He is also a columnist for Reader Supported News, Occupy.com, Huffington Post, Nation of Change and MichaelMoore.com.
